Within the scene are all the aspects of the traditional Christmas story; Mary and Joseph are in the foreground with their newborn Son, the shepherds and their sheep, the Kings with their camels and gifts and the star of Bethlehem behind. This latter shape is cut out to allow for a LED candle to sit behind and illuminate the scene on a dark winters night.
